BLACK AND WHITE IRELAND PHOTOGRAPHY

This collection of black and white photography ranges from the picturesque village of Inistioge to the remoter areas of Kerry and Cork and on up through the Burren coastline of Co. Clare with its stunning views of the cliffs of Moher; then through unique landscape of Connemara, Galway; and on up to Mayo with its tranquil lakes and vast natural boglands, unique to Ireland's character; traveling further north to the panoramic scenery of Donegal.

PANORAMIC IRELAND

These images consist of a body of work that started in 2001 with the addition of a new film camera 'The XPan', made by Hasselblad it is a versatile professional panoramic camera. This Irish scenery ranges in location from the Ballinskelligs, a remote peninsula near Waterville which is on the famous Ring of Kerry, all of the way up to Donegal and back to the peaceful settings of Glendalough in Co. Wicklow.

KILKENNY

Kilkenny is known to be the medievil capital of Ireland. It has many interesting villages and historic sites found across its picturisque landscape. Found in the sunny south east of Ireland it boasts many activities including golf and fishing to name but a few. Try it out for yourself and you will not be disappointed, don't forget to drive down through Bennitsbridge, Thomastown and to the real jewel in the crown Inistioge and Woodstock where a fine restaurant can be found Bassets of Woodstock is the ideal spot to dine found amongst the delightful setting of Woodstock Gardens.

 

CONNEMARA LANDSCAPES

Roundstone, The Old Bog Road, Twelve Bens ( Twelve Pins ) mountain range, Clifden, Sky Road, Errislannan, Dunloughan, Mannin Bay, Dogs Bay, some of the many trout lakes all feature in this collection, from one of Irelands most famous and scenic areas. An image of ireland that you will not forget.

YOSEMITE LANDSCAPES

In 2005 I visited the amazing setting of Yosemite National Park found on the eastern side of California. The pictures go a small way in portraying the beauty of the area. I will go back, maybe you should go if want to see some of the most spectacular landscapes our world has to offer.
